Has Barack Obama selected the most corrupt Cabinet in history?

Tom Daschle, Obama’s nominee to head the Department of Health and Human Service, admitted last week he had not paid more than $128,000 in back taxes over the past several years. He made $5.3 million in the past two years, yet didn’t pay all his taxes until he wanted to be confirmed to one of the most powerful Cabinet positions. Daschle has refused to answer questions publicly about this.

This scandalous revelation about Daschle comes on the heels of the withdrawal of another Cabinet nominee due to a federal investigation, and an admission by a third nominee that he hadn't paid taxes he owed. No other Cabinet in history has had so many scandals so quickly.
Confirmation hearings are ordinarily public, but the Democratic-controlled committee is holding an outrageous private hearing Monday to conceal details about this latest Obama scandal.

The Obama Watch, 1-28-09

Good Morning, Suckers

Barack Obama and Congressional Democrats are playing the voters for fools with the so-called stimulus package. The massive $825 billion package is not even targeted on programs to stimulate the economy. Instead, it is laced with runaway government spending for increased welfare, overgrown bureaucracy, pork, political payoffs, and other waste. That runaway spending is causing record smashing deficits of $1.5 trillion or more, equivalent to over 50% of the entire federal budget for fiscal 2008.

Hear Yee, Hear Yee, the Father-Ectomy Court is now in Session, 1-18-09

As President-Elect Barack Obama readies to assume Commander-In-Chief of this great country, he is joined by, arguendo, the most left-winged cabinet in recent memory. Hillary Clinton, author of "It Takes A Village" is our new Secretary of State. She'll be joined by the new head of Health and Human Services Tom Daschle who will keep the Child Abuse Prevention & Treatment Act (CAPTA) alive and well as he "creates" new and more ways to falsely accuse men and fathers (and some mothers, too) of child abuse and neglect. They'll both be surrounded by our new Vice-President Joe Biden. You remember him - the author of the Violence Against Women's Act (VAWA).
