In February, noncommissioned officers at Camp Zama were required to wear what was called "pregnancy simulators" as they stretched, twisted and exercised in training to be fitness instructors for pregnant soldiers and new mothers. Members of the Army all over the world are being ordered to take this class, which is called Pregnancy Postpartum Physical Training Exercise Leaders Course, or PPPT. The men are forced to take this special course in order to train the pregnant women.
Stars and Stripes printed several hundred comments about this amazing piece of news, and most of them reflect my views. Here they are: Bob wrote: "Mind boggling stupidity!" Nordman wrote: "Thank goodness I'm on my way out. The world keeps getting crazier!" Franklin wrote: "Why are pregnant women in the military? What use are they? If they become pregnant, wouldn't the sane thing be to discharge them?" Ryker wrote: "This is disgusting! Feminizing our military! Most of our ships are already floating maternity wards." Thesis wrote: "When I was in the Army, we learned how to kill the enemy and destroy their will to fight. Of course, we had a real commander in chief. I guess the new strategy is to get the enemy to laugh themselves to death."
