The Declaration contains five references to God -- God as supreme Lawmaker, God as the Source of all rights, God as the world's supreme Judge, God as our Patron and Protector, and God as Creator of all men. Since the Declaration declares that each of us was created, we must have had a Creator.
People listening to this broadcast know very well the famous words of the Declaration of Independence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights..." But do you know that, on many occasions, President Barack Obama omitted the word "Creator" when he recited that line? He didn't say who endowed us with our unalienable rights. Listen carefully to how he omitted the word "Creator" from the famous line. Here are Obama's own words, and I quote: "all men are created equal, that each of us are endowed with certain inalienable rights..." He didn't say who endowed us.
Changing the words of the Declaration of Independence is part of Obama's determination to remove everything religious, and every mention of God or a Creator, from every aspect of our public life in order to transform us from "one nation under God" into a totally secular, and even anti-religious, society.
