A disillusioned citizen
writes in a letter to the editor:
Now eight days after Obama's re-election, the following has happened:
Unemployment up yet again
War starting in Middle East
Inflation has begun
Food Stamp applications way up
Stocks dive seven straight days
Foreign investors are AWOL
Obama is not to blame. Yeah, and Santa Claus is real. Sixty million voted for four more years of the same. Sixty million voted for the man with no plan, instead of the man with a plan. Sixty million can now live with the results of that vote. Sadly, the rest of us are stuck too.

I was depressed for 8 days, but I just discovered some
positive news:
A new White House petition wants President Obama to nationalize the "Twinkie industry," saving the popular junk food from possible extinction.
"We the undersigned, hereby request Barack Obama to immediately Nationalize the Twinkie industry and prevent our nation from losing her sweet creamy center," a petition on the White House "We the People" website requests.
If Mitt Romney had been elected, then I doubt that there would be any talk about a federal bailout of the Twinkie industry. I did not need the other goodies that Obama promised, but Twinkies are essential to the American character, identity, and craving for instant gratification. They cannot be outsourced to China. Obama is not all bad if he saves the Twinkie.
