Hillary’s Hypocrisy Will Haunt Her In 2016

Republican Presidential candidate Carly Fiorina has vowed to hold Hillary Clinton accountable in the 2016 election, and so far she seems to be doing a good job of it. One of her favorite talking points has been Hillary’s total hypocrisy on the subject of “equal pay for equal work.” In spite of Clinton’s endless rhetoric about how she identifies with the common woman, she can’t even seem to hold up to the standards that she tries to impose on everyone else. As Carly Fiorina pointed out in a recent interview, Hillary actually paid her women staffers only seventy two cents for every dollar she paid a man during her tenure in the U.S. Senate. That falls well below the national average.

How can we expect more government regulation to do anything to help the American people when the loudest promoters of it can’t seem to stand by their own statements? Feminist rhetoric today is the same as it’s always been. Feminists are obsessed with victimology as the problem of women and affirmative action as the solution. They try to paint the world as being one gigantic male conspiracy against women.

We hear endless whining about supposed "equal pay for equal work," but what feminists really want is reverse discrimination. It’s their goal to impose quotas to give women equal pay for unequal work. When you actually relate earnings to hours worked and work performed, male and female gender profiles are very different. Men are more likely to work full-time jobs. Women are more likely to work part-time jobs. It's ridiculous to compare earnings without relating them to whether they were produced by full-time or part-time employment. Hillary Clinton should worry about her own staff and stop “lecturing others” about equal pay.
