Is Global Warming Bad For Your Health?

President Obama has decided that he needs more people to publicly support his personal climate-change agenda. Americans trust their doctors, so the White House wants to get medical professionals to be Obama’s propagandists. The Obama administration has been hard at work trying to conjure up a link between global warming and public health issues, so he decided to host a summit at the White House for medical professionals and academics with the express purpose of encouraging them to preach to their patients about how global warming will harm their personal health. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy told conference-goers that the curriculum of medical schools must be changed to take time from important instruction on how to ensure the health of patients by instructing doctors how to talk to patients about global warming.

Speakers at the White House Summit did not merely tell doctors to go out and raise awareness about global warming, but to also promote the Obama administration’s regulatory agenda aimed at cutting carbon dioxide emissions. The EPA has made the ridiculous claim that global warming can be blamed for worsening asthma among young people, the increased spread of disease, under-nutrition, and mental illness. This is in addition to EPA claims that global warming will lead to an increase in all manner of natural disasters, including intense floods and droughts.

This is just the latest attempt by the Obama administration to draw attention to the so-called danger of global warming. The EPA has also come under fire for cavorting with the American Lung Association to push the idea that global warming is going to make our lung health worse. Obama’s attempt to politicize family doctors should be alarming to every American. The trusting bond between doctor and patient should not be broken by governments plan to indoctrinate the American public.
