Planned Parenthood’s Desperate Lawsuit

America’s largest provider of abortions has been scrambling for answers since the Center For Medical Progress released its series of twelve videos that exposed Planned Parenthood officials selling aborted children’s body parts. Outrage swept across the country as Americans demanded swift action. Investigations are still being conducted by local governments, state legislatures, Congress, and law enforcement agencies. Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards was called before Congress to answer these accusations. Despite overwhelming video evidence, Richards never admitted that the sales took place. However, she later announced that Planned Parenthood would no longer receive payment for selling the body parts.

Now Planned Parenthood is doing anything it can to distract the public from ongoing investigations. Their boldest move has been to file a civil lawsuit against David Daleiden, founder of the Center For Medical Progress. Daleiden made a statement to the press. He said, “This last-ditch move of desperation is going to expose all of the sordid dealings of the California Planned Parenthood affiliates.” Daleiden is right when he says that this lawsuit proves that Planned Parenthood is desperate. The lawsuit also shows that Planned Parenthood does not really care about women’s health. If their goals really were humanitarian, they would not waste money suing investigative journalists. The truth is, Planned Parenthood is a business motivated by profiting on misguided young women. All they care about is getting more of your tax dollars. It’s time for this to stop. Planned Parenthood should not receive government funding for its immoral and illegal activities. The lawsuit against David Daleiden will provide another opportunity for the public to see Planned Parenthood for the corrupt abortion profiteer that it really is.
