A report from the Senate Judiciary Committee showed that 124 Americans were murdered by criminal aliens who had been released by our government from 2010 to 2015. These criminal aliens had 464 criminal convictions when they were captured the first time. That should have been more than enough reason to deport those dangerous people. However, Immigration and Customs Enforcement under the policies of Obama chose to release them. As a result, 124 Americans like Sarah Root lost their lives to criminal aliens.
Sarah Root’s mother has taken a stand against this injustice. She testified before a House panel to warn them of the danger in Obama’s catch and release policy. She gave an emotional personal testimony of how the illegal who killed Sarah got away with his crime. She said “He posted $5,000 bond, which was less than the cost to bury my daughter Sarah.” The families and friends of other victims are coming forward with similar stories. Presidential candidate Donald Trump has made it a priority to highlight these families’ stories. Because of their courageous efforts, more Americans are starting to see the importance of this issue. The safety of American citizens should be our government’s top priority. Political correctness has no part where our families’ safety is concerned. Violent criminal aliens should be immediately deported. That is the best way to curb this dangerous trend of violent crime by illegal aliens.
